Great kit. So much water is available in urban environments but without the key you aren't getting it. Carry a couple qt zip lock bags with Katadyn water tabs under your boot/shoe insole. Water procurement is top priority. Toss a couple chest seals in the FA kit.

When you use the closed Weather Jacket on the Frontside down, you have the same Result. But you can wear the Weather Jacket dry after the Drink!

I had already seen the video, then I watched it again today, and then I watched it again, writing things down. The video was very good. I just want to sleep in the new sleeping system, now in the middle of the week, it's good to have a new topic in the notepad for that. I've stopped going camping because I kept thinking about what to take or not, and so I created a fixed list of things, so I don't waste time or energy choosing. I should camp more.

Another way off hiding emergency money is putting it in-between the cell phone and the cell phone case. My family members always carry $200 in our cell phone cases and use it ONLY for emergencies(I still have the old style 1990s $100dollar bill there, along with 3x20 2x10 and4x5) We started doing so after the Northridge earthquake*. Since gas stations, atms, and stores all stopped working or closed, the less savory people where selling gas and water on the streets to people who got caught miles from their homes and had to travel in areas they normally wouldnt. A gallon of gas was $20 bucks and a water bottle(pint) was $5. In some cases a toll was forced to travel through the area to get home. $20-50 bucks. Some people are vile. *before cell phone cases we carried money in the cell holster or in the lining of our shoes(padding).

I hate the button compass. I have had a Lensatic compass it does all that without having to carry all the extra crap or even a map compass. people lose the button compass all the time. Also the button compass is easily thrown off
